I have submitted to CWF a number of times in the last decade, and have never received a grant, but I appreciate the $500 application grants we have received. It is a recognition that work on our side of the transaction has value.

WEHF ensures that the burden of the grantmaking process is held primarily by their program staff. They let us submit a proposal that we wrote for a different funder and the reporting process was streamlined. The trust the have in their grantees is such a powerful gift.

I've been wowed at how quickly WEHF pivoted to support their grantees during the pandemic. They were proactive and supportive. They've been the best funder we've worked with during the crisis.
I would love it if WEHF could influence other funders to treat their grantees with respect as they do.
They make the grantwriting and reporting process super easy for their grantees. They give us time back that we can invest in our work.
