I'm not 100% sure of ALL its philanthropic goals. I can however say, I feel the foundation is very involved in mental health and it would be best to have more funds to support under resourced communities, where the need is so great.

The "Priorities Link" in the 2023 grant application instructions was very helpful. I have previously found it difficult to find information about the Foundation's mission, history, values, and priorities.

I appreciate the executive director's transparency during the application process and feedback on declined proposals. It is not always offered by Foundations, and it is very helpful for applicants.

LB is in a season where they are still figuring out what they want to do, so it makes it difficult to pitch a project to them. I first learned of them via GrantStation, and only had their profile info to go on. I emailed the foundation our 400-word max intro and was invited to submit a full proposal. It was declined and I asked for feedback. The feedback was honest and straightforward, but it made me wonder why we were ever allowed to submit a full application in the first place.
