Just reach out! You won't know until you try.

Community First Foundation was so quick to respond in the midst of covid. Our nonprofit received funding that was bridge the gap of funding that was suspended or wasn't received from donors. The interview process was very smooth and our contact was great to speak with.

Community First Foundation is incredible to work with!!! Their staff really cares!!! They work hard to help in more ways than just giving money! Like the saying goes, “Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach him to fish and you feed him for a lifetime!” Community First is the latter!

Amazing group! I started the application during a very panicked time at the end of March during COVID. Had a couple of questions and was wonderfully redirected by a staff member. Appreciate everything that community first does in our community and they certainly helped us survive the early days of the pandemic.

As with any grant - have as many details available before you start the process. Not only details about your organization, but grant requirements, deadlines, etc.

Friendly and welcoming foundation. If you have questions I would not hesitate to call and get advice. I recommend to asked for the highest amount needed for they tend to issue less then requested. Likely because they are so great many look to this foundation for grant assistance.

I wish there was another funding cycle this calendar year, covid response is incredibly important but there are so many nonprofits doing amazing work that are struggling due to secondary financial impact of covid and desperately need funds just to keep staff in place!
